Description
American Traveler is hiring a Stepdown RN for a night shift assignment requiring med surg and cardiac drip experience with an NH or compact license.
Details
Stepdown unit within a regional referral medical center
Adult-geriatric patient population
Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:30 AM), 48 hours per week
Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
No on-call requirements
Float to Kingsbury unit as needed
Epic EMR used
Requirements
Active RN license (NH or Compact) required in-hand prior to consideration
Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
Current NIH Stroke Scale certification strongly preferred
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required
Cardiac drip experience required
Dementia experience/management required
Epic EMR experience required
Must have personal vehicle due to lack of public transportation in the area
Additional Information
Coordinate total nursing care for patients, participate in patient and family teaching, and provide leadership within the clinical team
Traveler-provided professional scrubs required (no logos)
Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and following weekend, New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and following weekend
Maximum of 5 days RTO accepted during the assignment, and all requests must be submitted prior to offer
Block scheduling will not be accommodated
Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
Candidates should not be pursuing this assignment in conjunction with another permanent placement or travel assignment
