Assignment Overview
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Surgical Acute unit. This role requires expertise in post-op care, trauma, and overflow medical cases within an acute care setting. Ideal candidates will possess strong critical thinking skills and a good bedside manner.
Assignment Details
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)
Shift: 12-hour nights (19:30 - 07:30)
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday requirement: Rotate every other holiday
Floating requirements: First to float; specific to experience level
Charting System: EPICScrub Color: Any color
Responsibilities
Manage post-operative surgical, trauma, and overflow medical patients
Conduct dressing changes and wound care
Administer IV therapy and pain management
Care for drains, NGs, central lines, and TPN
Ensure a collaborative approach as part of a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
Active IL RN license or application initiation confirmation
BLS certification (AHA)
Experience in post-op care and critical thinking skills
