Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgical Oncology Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2+ years of PCU/oncology experience and FL or compact RN licensure.
Details
Surgical Oncology Progressive Care Unit (7W) setting
36-bed unit with 5:1 patient ratios
12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
Uses Epic EMR
Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
Active FL or compact RN license
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Chemotherapy certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience required with oncology unit experience
Nursing degree accreditation must be documented, or candidate must have 5 years of experience
Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
Additional Information
Provide progressive care nursing to surgical oncology patients
Travelers are expected to integrate as core staff and demonstrate flexibility and teamwork
Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict verification of residency
All requested RTO must be submitted upfront, as facility will not approve additional RTO after submission
Orientation begins on a Friday, with in-person attendance required for badge and ID
Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documentation
