Job description
American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical First Assistant experienced in cardiovascular procedures for a hospital surgical services position.
Requirements
1-2 years of experience required
Comfortable performing vein harvesting for CABG procedures
Experience assisting in on and off pump CABG procedures, VATs, and valve replacements
EPIC charting experience preferred
Current valid State RN License required at time of consideration
License required if applicable
Responsibilities
Hospital surgical services unit specializing in cardiovascular procedures
Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off
Call coverage required
Assist the surgical team during cardiovascular procedures including CABG, VATs, and valve replacements
Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
Former staff members must have been separated from employment for at least one year before returning as a traveler
No more than 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved, and no time off is permitted during the first week of orientation
