Job Summary
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) in an acute care hospital setting. This seasonal travel position is based in a busy surgical unit specializing in elective procedures such as orthopedics, spine, general surgery, cardiovascular, plastics, gynecology, robotics, and urology. The role involves supporting a team committed to patient care and operating room efficiency, with an emphasis on teamwork, adaptability, and quality surgical assistance.
Job Details
Schedule: Dayshift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026.
Required Qualifications: Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT), minimum 6 months of current acute care operating room experience, NBSTA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification, DORA (Department of Regulatory Agencies) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedic, spine, cardiovascular, and robotic procedures, and a flexible personality suited for teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information: Call is required with a response time within 30 minutes. Second call on some weekends, with a possibility of first call shifts. The unit emphasizes elective cases with no trauma, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
