Start Date: ASAP (facility follows biweekly orientation schedule)
Schedule:
40 hours per week
Mix of 5x8s and 4x10s
Day shift
Weeknight and weekend call rotation
Approximately 4-5 call shifts every 6 weeks
Travel Pay Package:
$2,209/week
Local Pay Package:
$1,960/week
Overview:
Work in a 14-room Operating Room department
Provide surgical technologist support across a wide range of specialties
Assist with General Surgery, GYN, ENT, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Plastics, GU, Thoracic, Vascular, Endovascular, and Trauma procedures
Utilize advanced technology including Da Vinci Robotics and Neuro 7D systems
Care for patients across all age groups from neonatal through geriatric populations
Maintain sterile fields and assist surgical teams during procedures
EPIC experience preferred
Additional Details:
1 opening available
Phone interview with manager required
Direct client with approximately 24-hour feedback
Free onsite parking
1:1 staffing ratio
Facility may cancel up to one shift length per 4-week period for low census
High likelihood of extension
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience
NBSTSA or NCCT certification required
Experience in:General Surgery
GYN
ENT
Orthopedics
Neurosurgery
Plastics
GU
Thoracic
Vascular
Endovascular
Trauma services
Certified Surgical Technologist credential required
EPIC experience preferred
Compliance Requirements:
10-panel drug screen (THC excluded)
TB test (T-Spot or Quantiferon Gold) within 1 year of start
MMR vaccines or titers required
Varicella vaccines or titers required
Hep B declinations accepted
Tdap may be declined if needed
