Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in San Pedro, California.

Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse, located in the healthcare provider's facility, is responsible for providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and other critical conditions. This role requires experience with ventilated patients and tracheostomy management, operating primarily during night shifts with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
Job Details
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS
Education Requirements: Valid state license; compact license accepted in submission
Years of Experience: 1 year required
Location Requirements: Local radius of 50 miles
Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Additional Qualifications: Experience managing ventilated patients and tracheostomy care, proficiency with cardiac telemetry and ventilator management, familiarity with electronic charting systems, and ability to float between units as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in telemetry, critical care, or similar acute care settings.
Additional Information: Candidate must have worked at a healthcare facility offering telemetry services, and references covering at least one year within the last three years are required. This role may require working with interdisciplinary teams and participating in ongoing training modules.
