Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Saint Peters, Missouri.

Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) nurses are sought for a short-term acute care facility in a busy hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients, including stroke and post-cardiac catheter care. The position requires flexibility to float between units at two different locations as needed.

Required Qualifications
Valid certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale)
2 years of telemetry experience
familiarity with post-cardiac catheter care and stroke care
experience with blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams
EPIC charting experience required
Preferred Qualifications
Stroke and neuro/brain attack experience, step-down or telemetry experience caring for stroke patients
previous experience in adult and geriatric units, and familiarity with post-thrombectomy care
Patient Population:
Adults and geriatrics with complex cardiac and neurological conditions, including stroke, post-cardiac cath, and general surgery
Additional Job Details:
Float to multiple units including MS and ICU as needed, with a patient ratio typically 1:4-6 depending on census and acuity; mandatory weekend shifts and every other weekend required; unit supports interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, and therapy services
