Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week Telemetry Unit assignment requiring a KS or compact RN license and 2 years of experience.
Details
Telemetry Unit setting within a hospital
13-week assignment with night shift hours (19:00-07:30)
Every other weekend required
No on-call responsibilities
May float to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita
Uses Cerner OneChart EHR
Requirements
Active KS or compact RN license required
BLS certification (AHA) required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
MOAB Moderate Risk de-escalation training required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
Ceil blue scrubs required
Provide direct nursing care to telemetry/med-surg patients
Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate per facility radius rule
Only one submission permitted per candidate across Ascension system-wide positions
