Job description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with ARDMS registration in general, vascular, and OB/GYN for a 13-week travel assignment.
Requirements
ARDMS or ARRT RVT registration required
ARDMS OB/GYN or ABD certification required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience required
License required if applicable
US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Responsibilities
Acute care hospital Ultrasound department on a 204-bed campus
Rotating shifts including Tuesday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM and weekend 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM shifts
Responsible for at least 1 weekend per month, rotating as primary or backup on-call technologist
Call requirements of approximately 4-10 shifts per month depending on staffing needs
Uses GE Logiq 9 and 10 ultrasound equipment
Documentation via Meditech Expanse
Performs abdomen, OB/GYN, transvaginal, and vascular exams on upper and lower extremities, as well as pediatric, small parts, and NICU exams
Facility is ACR accredited
Black scrub color required
Fast learner with ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment preferred
Previous travel experience preferred
First-time travelers may be considered
Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates will be considered
