TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a position in Rochester, New York.

We are looking for a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Rochester, NY. The right Rad Tech must have 1 year of experience.
Responsibilities
Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required.
Follow orders from physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging.
Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to appropriate position.
Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to yourself and to patient by taking appropriate protection precautions.
Calibrate imaging equipment.
Prepare results for physician to review.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements
Must have 1 year of experience.
Must have BLS, ARRT (R) National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required.
Rad Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
Rad Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Additional Certifications : ARRT (R), BLS, 2 Years (additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment).
Job ID # . Pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
