Traveler Mechanical Assembly Technician –Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems AssemblyNSC has immediate Mechanical Assembly Technician openings in Wayland, Michigan!Shift: 1st shift Monday-Thursday: 7:00am-5:30pm Friday: 7:00am-3:00pm Pay: $20-28/hourJob Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. As an assembler, you will be responsible for assembling various customer specific components and systems on agricultural bulk feed trailers. Your expertise in hand tools, power tools, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems will be crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of our agricultural feed hopper trailers.ResponsibilitiesAs an assembler, you will be responsible for assembling various customer specific components and systems on agricultural bulk feed trailersYour expertise in hand tools, power tools, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems will be crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of our agricultural feed hopper trailersPerform assembly and installation of mechanical and electrical components according to engineering specificationsUtilize hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to assemble, adjust, and test components such as augers, junction boxes, hydraulic control valves and motors in addition to pneumatic air lines and valvesRead and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawingsTroubleshoot and repair any issues or malfunctions in the assembly processCollaborate with other team members to improve assembly processes and product qualityEach trailer is designed and built to meet individual customer specifications and exceed expectationsReasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsNSC Staffing values our employees and is committed to offering meaningful employment in safe workplace conditions.
