Patient Observation AssistantProvides visual and audible observation of assigned patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and unit manager. This traveling role requires flexibility to float between multiple hospital locations based on operational needs.All new hires will complete training at Ascension All Saints Hospital – Racine location.Team members may be scheduled to work at any of the following locations:Ascension All Saints Hospital 3803 Spring St., Racine, WI 53405Ascension SE Hospital – Franklin Campus 10101 S 27th St., Franklin, WI 53132Ascension SE Hospital – St. Francis Campus 3237 S 16th St., Milwaukee, WI 53215Ascension SE Wisconsin Hospital – Elmbrook Campus 19333 W North Ave., Brookfield, WI 53045Ascension SE Wisconsin Hospital – St. Joseph Campus 5000 W Chambers St., Milwaukee, WI 53210Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital – Milwaukee Campus 2301 N Lake Dr., Milwaukee, WI 53211Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital – Ozaukee Campus 13111 N Port Washington Rd., Mequon, WI 53097Essential duties and responsibilities include:Visually and audibly monitors the assigned patient's condition and behavior at all times.Completes observation reports at established interval.Honors all confidentiality and other regulatory requirements.Accepts and absorbs department and hospital education program.Assists other associates as necessary. Responds to direction as provided.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications include:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is requiredAbility to travel reliably between multiple locations is required.Current CPR AED or basic life Support healthcare provider (BLS-HCP) certification required within 30 days of hire.Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods.
