Loader OperatorEmery Sapp & Sons is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Loader Operator to support operations at two concrete plant locations: the MCI Airport Concrete Plant in Kansas City, MO and the Lawrence Concrete Plant in Lawrence, KS. This position is responsible for operating a front-end loader to move, stockpile, and load aggregate materials while supporting daily concrete production.The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to travel between the MCI Airport and Lawrence plant locations as operational needs require.Primary work locations are: MCI Airport Concrete Plant (Kansas City, MO) Lawrence Concrete Plant (Lawrence, KS). This position regularly works between both plant locations. Reliable transportation is required.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a front-end loader in a concrete plant environment.Maintain aggregate stockpiles and load material into bins, hoppers, and trucks.Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.Report maintenance and repair needs promptly.Assist with plant operations, housekeeping, and material management.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.Communicate effectively with plant personnel and truck drivers.Support production needs at both the MCI Airport and Lawrence concrete plants.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in heavy equipment operation preferred2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment, with experience in a construction setting preferredAbility to read and interpret construction plans and specificationsStrong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiencesStrong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze project data and identify trends and opportunities for improvementExperience with government contracts and compliance is a plusEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
