McCorvey Sheet Metal is a family-owned and operated company seeking highly qualified, skilled Commercial Sheet Metal Mechanics to join our team for a project in Midland, Texas. Immediate availability and opportunities for growth are available! If you have experience assembling and installing commercial sheet metal ductwork, we want to hear from you! McCorvey Sheet Metal specializes in large-scale projects, including hospitals, research labs, sports stadiums, schools, and many other vertical markets. Travel to Midland, TX, is required for this project. Requirements Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and physical.
Must have experience working with sheet metal on large commercial construction projects.
Ability to read, understand, and analyze blueprints and specifications.
Ability to lay out hangers using dimensions or a Trimble unit.
Full knowledge of ductwork, duct systems, water gauge, and different materials used.
Must have all necessary tools to perform job duties.
Knowledge of construction safety protocols and procedures.
Duties - Including but Not Limited To Work respectfully and cooperatively with fellow employees.
Work the necessary hours to meet project deadlines.
Communicate daily with the Foreman and supervisors to ensure the project stays on schedule.
Attend onsite safety meetings.
Install high-quality products according to project specifications.
Represent McCorvey Sheet Metal in a professional manner.
