Job description

Harmer is actively searching for an experienced Treasury Supervisor or Treasury Manager to oversee day-to-day treasury operations for a growing energy solutions company. This position will manage cash and liquidity, cash forecasting, banking relationships, debt administration, and treasury controls.

The Treasury Manager will be responsible for maintaining strong visibility into the Company’s cash position, optimizing liquidity and working capital, administering banking and payment platforms, and supporting financing and growth initiatives.

This position will work closely with Accounting, FP&A, Operations, banking partners, lenders, and the Company’s private equity owner .

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily cash positioning and liquidity across multiple bank accounts and legal entities.

Prepare and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasts and analyze forecast-to-actual variances.

Communicate liquidity requirements, cash trends, and potential funding needs to management.

Manage banking relationships, bank account administration, authorized signers, user access, treasury services, and related documentation.

Oversee cash concentration, intercompany transfers, funding requests, wires, ACH transactions, and other treasury activities while maintaining appropriate approval controls.

Administer revolving credit and asset-based lending facilities, including borrowing base certificates, compliance reporting, interest payments, and lender requests.

Monitor debt balances, borrowing availability, interest rates, fees, covenant requirements, and other financing obligations.

Prepare timely treasury and debt reporting for management and the private equity owner.

Partner with Accounting on bank reconciliations, cash-related general ledger activity, month-end close, and resolution of reconciling items.

Develop and maintain treasury policies, procedures, internal controls, and appropriate segregation of duties.

Identify opportunities to improve cash visibility, working capital, banking structures, payment processes, fraud prevention, and treasury automation.

Support acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic initiatives, including bank account transitions, liquidity planning, treasury due diligence, and debt-related requirements.

Prepare treasury reporting and analysis for management, lenders, auditors, and other key stakeholders.

Maintain organized documentation supporting treasury transactions, controls, financing arrangements, and banking activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.

8+ years of Treasury, Accounting, and/or Finance experience , including hands-on responsibility for corporate cash management and banking activities.

Strong knowledge of cash management, liquidity forecasting, banking services, debt administration, and treasury operations.

Experience with revolving credit facilities, asset-based lending, borrowing base reporting, covenant compliance, and lender relationships strongly preferred.

Experience working within a private equity-backed organization is a plus.

Strong understanding of internal controls, payment security, fraud prevention, and bank account administration.

Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and the interaction between treasury activities and financial reporting.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Demonstrated ability to identify and implement treasury and process improvements.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central , online banking platforms (Must have Wells Fargo), and/or treasury management systems is preferred.

Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), CPA, MBA, Master’s degree, or other relevant professional credential is a plus.
