Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Trial Attorney specializing in Family Law in Tucson, AZ. This role involves regular courtroom appearances, managing cases from intake to verdict, and leading practice areas in estates, trust, guardianship, or probate. The position offers a hybrid work structure with a focus on excellence and authenticity.
Duties
Manage a family law caseload from strategy through resolution, including divorce, custody, and support matters.
Appear in court throughout Arizona for hearings, conferences, and trials.
Draft and argue motions, prepare briefs, and ensure the quality of all filings.
Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and build trial exhibits.
Advise clients honestly and negotiate settlements when appropriate.
Identify and flag broken workflows for improvement.
Requirements
Active Arizona Bar admission in good standing.
Demonstrated family law experience with courtroom appearances.
Proven ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
Organized and able to manage competing deadlines.
Willingness to travel for court appearances throughout Arizona.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
Active Arizona Bar admission.
Skills
Strong legal writing and analytical skills.

Organizational skills and deadline management.
Spanish fluency preferred.
