Job Overview
A law firm seeks a trial attorney in Minneapolis, MN, with remote work considered. The role involves leading or assisting trial teams in complex class action matters, focusing on trial preparation and courtroom advocacy.
Duties
Prepare cases for trial and arbitration
lead or assist trial teams
Manage complex litigation, including discovery and motion practice.
Take and defend depositions.
Engage in all aspects of pre-trial discovery.
Draft and respond to motions
draft briefs
Present case strategy at trials in complex class action litigation.
Requirements
J.D. from an accredited law school
admitted in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
8+ years of trial and deposition experience.
Strong academic credentials and robust analytical, research, writing, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage and thrive in a fast- paced work environment.
Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
preference for candidates licensed in Washington, D.C., California, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, or Illinois.
Education
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Skills
Strong analytical, research, writing, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage complex litigation and work in a fast- paced environment.
