Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Trial Attorney in Richmond, Virginia. The role involves managing a complex caseload from pre-litigation through trial, representing plaintiffs in various personal injury cases. The attorney will work with a dedicated team, including a paralegal and legal assistant, to ensure effective case management.
Duties
Handle day-to-day litigation cases.
Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
Guide clients through the case process.
Interact with expert witnesses and draft reports.
Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
Requirements
Law degree from an accredited law school.
Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association.
Ability to manage a high volume of litigation cases.
Excellent client service and communication skills.
Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
State Bar Association membership.
Skills
