Outpatient Adult Psychiatry Opportunity - Troy, NY

Location: Troy, New York
Position Type: Full-time, outpatient psychiatrist
Schedule: Standard daytime outpatient clinic hours
Call: Weekend: 1:6 rotation
Weeknight: 1:7 rotation
Start Date: Immediate placement
Practice Setting: Outpatient Mental Health Clinic within a comprehensive behavioral health program
Licensure & Credentialing Requirements
Board Certification: Required OR truly Board Eligible (Psychiatry)
Board Status: Must be current (no lapsed certification accepted)
State License: New York license required or ability to obtain
DEA: Required
Candidate Requirements
Experienced psychiatrists preferred; recent graduates acceptable
Not accepting locum candidates
Not open to visa sponsorship
Clinical Role Overview
Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to adult patients in outpatient clinic
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team: Counselors
Therapists
Case managers
Nurse practitioners
Assess, diagnose, and manage psychiatric conditions using evidence-based approaches
Participate in weekend and weeknight call rotations
Maintain CME and participate in professional development
