Job description
Responsible for contacting students and families by phone and home visits.
Monitor occurrences of absenteeism, unexcused absences, and excessive tardiness.
Gather and assess attendance data for the district.
Prepares monthly reports of the Truancy Program for the Assistant Superintendent.
Locates truant students, and patrols schools, parks, and streets to maintain attendance and safety.
Reports to law enforcement agencies any acts that contribute to truancy, delinquency, or injury of students.
Verifies parents and student residency.
Writes and submits case reports on investigative findings of students.
Attends district and school safety meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate Degree required/Bachelor's degree preferred
Salary/Benefits
$52,00 - $55,000
