Inside The RoleAs part of the Cleveland TMP team, you are responsible for assembling and installing truck components for heavy-duty trucks. The candidate for this position will have a passion for process improvements, a keen eye to detail, and love numbers. Leading with the Daimler Truck Values of passion, respect, integrity, and discipline is an absolute must.We Take Care of Our TeamResponsibilities: Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including: repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures. Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput. Install and assemble components for heavy-duty trucks. Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy. Operate the following tools and equipment: jigs and fixtures, pneumatic and DC tools for fasteners and assembly of heavy-duty trucks.Basic Required Skills & Experience:High school diploma or equivalentMust be able to perform all essential functions of the jobAbility to work in a heavy manufacturing environment that requires the ability to lift, carry and pull and push moderate to heavy equipment, tools and partsMust be able to read and write in English and conduct basic mathThe ability to work overtime including weekendsWillingness and ability to work any shiftAn attached resumeBasic Preferred Skills & Experience: Heavy Truck Assembly knowledge.
