New CDL Graduate Start your Career with Ryder's Driver Development Program
We have a Class A Driver opening in Findlay, OH for New CDL Graduates that have received their CDL License. We want the right driver to join us at Ryder.
6-9 Months Experience ask about our Extended Driver Development Program! We have developed proficiency-based training with experienced facilitators. Drivers will receive 8 weeks of training focusing on all backing, close quarter maneuvers, practice doing short and longer runs and get paid while doing so. Gain hands-on experience from the finest instructors in the industry.

Weekly Minimum Guarantee during training $1075 per week
Weekly Minimum Guarantee after training $1415 per week

Schedule: Monday – Friday or Sunday - Thursday
Start Time: AM or PM based on route bid

Requirements
9 months or less of CDL driving experience
Minimum 21 years of age
Pass a Ryder Drug Test
Pass a Ryder background and a Motor Vehicle Registration check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A
Ability to:
Follow written and/or oral instructions
Read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding the checking in and out of freight
Perform other duties as assigned
