Job description
We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our maintenance team. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain our medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks. Your primary goal is to ensure vehicles operate safely, minimize downtime, and meet all regulatory compliance standards.
Reading work orders and consulting with customers : Understanding the work required and explaining the repair process
Planning work procedures : Using technical manuals and charts to map out work procedures
Inspecting vehicles : Following checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined, including the engine, transmission, steering mechanism, and brake systems
Running diagnostic tests : Reading and interpreting diagnostic test results to identify problems
Repairing or replacing parts : Replacing malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment
Performing basic maintenance : Changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires
Test-driving vehicles : Ensuring that the vehicle runs smoothly after repairs
Communicating with supervisors, coworkers, and clients : Providing updates on repair progress or any potential issues
Staying updated : Keeping up with industry trends, technological advancements, and manufacturer recommendations
Collaborating with other mechanics : Working with other mechanics and technicians to ensure efficient workflow
Change and Rotate tires
Oil changes- and any other services that might need to be made
Must Follow basic instructions & Pay attention to detail. Must pass a background check & Drug test.
