Tube Machine Operator (Direct Hire)Looking for a hands-on manufacturing career with a global leader? Wabtec is seeking a Tube Machine Operator to join our 3rd Shift production team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with machinery, precision measurements, and quality-focused manufacturing. We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience who are eager to learn and grow.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 1 year of related work experienceExperience RequirementsManufacturing or machine operation experience preferredBasic computer skills requiredAbility to use calipers, tape measures, micrometers, and other measuring toolsMechanical aptitude and understanding of machine componentsJob DutiesSet up and operate tube manufacturing equipmentProduce and assemble finished tube componentsInspect parts to ensure quality standards are metPerform light machine maintenance and troubleshootingFollow work instructions, specifications, and safety proceduresOperate RTTS and aluminum tube machinesAssist with training team members as neededSupport other production departments when qualifiedMaintain accurate production recordsTravel domestically or internationally when required for projectsPerform additional duties as assignedPhysical CapabilitiesLift up to 50 poundsStand for extended periods on concrete floorsWork in warm manufacturing environments, especially during summer monthsHandle paints, oils, solvents, and industrial materials safelyWear required personal protective equipment (PPE)Maintain manual dexterity and physical stamina necessary for production workBenefitsVary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
