Job description
Tube Roller OperatorSnelling Staffing is currently hiring a Tube Roller Operator for a manufacturing opportunity in the Jacksonville area.The Tube Roller Operator will be responsible for operating tube rolling equipment to form sheet metal into round ductwork and related components. We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has strong measuring skills.Responsibilities:Set up and operate tube rolling equipment.Form sheet metal into round ductwork and tube sections.Read work orders, measurements, and production specifications.Adjust machine settings to meet required dimensions.Measure and inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.Load and unload materials safely.Maintain an organized and safe work area.Perform basic equipment checks and report any issues.Operate a forklift as needed.Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures.Qualifications:Manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication experience preferred.Tube rolling, roll-forming, or similar experience is a plus.Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.Basic math and measuring skills.Forklift experience preferred.Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.Ability to follow work instructions and production specifications.Must be dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.Comfortable working around machinery, sheet metal, noise, and varying temperatures.Must be able to wear required PPE.
