We're a trusted and strategic partner to engineers, contractors, distributors, specifiers, retailers, and homeowners alike as the manufacturer of precast concrete, polymer concrete, and plastic infrastructure products.Job Summary:Operates plant machinery & equipment as directed while adhering to all rules and regulations mandated by safety policies and procedures to produce a superior product.Job Responsibilities:Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirementsObserve dryer operation and performs adjustments to maintain set parametersComplete labor tasks as assignedPerform routine machine maintenanceStartup machinery for daily productionMake sure all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned areasOther duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as neededJob Requirements:High school diploma or GED equivalent, or one to six months of related experience in trades specific to job requirements, or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manualsAbility to be a self-starter and work independentlyAbility to add, subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsMaintain a high level of accuracy in all aspects of work assignmentsWhile performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of timeMust have the ability to lift and/or move up to 70 lbsWhat CRH Offers You:Highly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsAn inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRH:CRH has a long and proud heritage.
