Our ~15,000 employees create world-class solutions in communications, 5G, automotive, energy, quantum, aerospace, defense, and semiconductor markets for customers in over 100 countries.The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located on Client's campus in Santa Rosa, CA provides high-precision manufacturing solutions that enable the capabilities of Client's industry leading electronic measurement equipment.As a machinist you will develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting edge machine tools such as Swiss Style Lathes, Single and Multi-Turret Lathes, Wire EDM, or 3 to 5 axis Milling centers.Client is looking for a highly motivated individual with a desire to learn advanced machining skills. This position will require a machinist with a knack for precision, quality, and attention to detail.Willingness to learn, strong teamwork, a positive attitude, dedication, and job flexibility are a must. In addition, you will interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management as well as production/NPI Schedulers.Experience with any/all of the following is highly desired:CNC TurningSwiss Style LathesMill/Turn Machine CenterWire EDMAdvanced MetrologyCNC Programming/CAM Programming SoftwareCAD/Solid ModelingTool GrindingInterpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Education:High School DiplomaAssociate's Degree or Journeyman Machinist certification a plus
