Job description
Contribute to a remote evaluation project focused on U.S. tax filing and financial workflows. You will review real-world tax processes, assess system-generated outputs, and provide structured feedback that helps improve how AI systems reason through financial tasks. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities Review, annotate, and assess U.S. tax filing workflows and related financial processes.
Apply detailed project instructions and defined evaluation rubrics to assess workflow accuracy, completeness, and user experience.
Compare system-generated outputs with real-world tax documents and scenarios.
Connect personal financial accounts through secure Plaid access, along with personal Gmail and Google Drive, to support workflow review and document sharing.
Provide relevant tax-related documents for project use. Downstream use occurs after personally identifiable information has been sanitized.
Provide clear written and verbal feedback on findings.
Work asynchronously with project coordinators and provide timely updates on deliverables.
Apply financial and tax-filing expertise to evaluation work that supports the training and improvement of next-generation AI systems.
Qualifications Demonstrated financial literacy.
Hands-on experience filing 2025 U.S. taxes, either independently or with assistance from a CPA or other tax professional.
Proficiency in document review and annotation, with strong attention to detail and consistency.
Experience applying structured evaluation criteria or rubrics, or participating in model, workflow, data annotation, RLHF, or quality-review assessments, is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and precision.
Familiarity with Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, and Drive, and the ability to follow digital workflows.
Comfort connecting personal Gmail, Google Drive, and financial accounts for secure, project-specific use.
Work Terms Remote contract engagement.
This is a short-term customer project focused on U.S. tax and financial workflow evaluation.
Asynchronous collaboration is expected.
Immediate availability is preferred.
Compensation Hourly compensation ranges from $35 to $110.
Eligibility Current residence in a mainland U.S. state is preferred.
