Review accessibility findings and provide clear, actionable guidance for identifying and remediating Section 508 issues.

Support accessibility testing, audits, and remediation efforts by reviewing findings, recommending design solutions, and validating corrected implementations.

Incorporate feedback from developers, testers, stakeholders, and users into iterative design improvements within an Agile delivery environment.

Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.

Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a portfolio demonstrating accessible web or application design work.

Demonstrated experience designing accessible user interfaces and advising cross-functional teams on Section 508 compliance and remediation.

Translate accessibility and compliance requirements into practical recommendations for team members with varying levels of accessibility expertise.

Ability to collaborate effectively with Business Analysts and stakeholders and translate research and user insights into practical design solutions.

Proficiency with Figma and experience working within Agile development teams.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly explain design and accessibility recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
