Ultrasound Supervisor Aiken, SC 29801
Full-Time Permanent / Direct Hire
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Supervisor for a full-time, permanent opportunity in the Aiken, South Carolina area .
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Ultrasound / Sonography professional who is ready to take the next step in leadership or continue growing their career in a supervisory role.
Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of the Ultrasound department
Supervise and support sonographers and imaging staff
Coordinate workflow, scheduling, and daily department operations
Help maintain high standards for image quality and patient care
Ensure departmental policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed
Assist with staff training, development, and performance
Support quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nursing staff, and other imaging professionals
Perform ultrasound examinations as needed while supporting department operations
Qualifications Previous professional experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures, equipment, and patient care
Appropriate sonography certification/credentials
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Supervisory, lead, or management experience within Ultrasound or Diagnostic Imaging preferred
