Ultrasound Tech Join Our Team!

Position: Ultrasound Technician
Location: On Site at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky
Schedule: Full time position
weekend and on call rotation required
What You’ll Do
Operates imaging equipment to obtain images of designated portions of the body.
Performs thorough screening of patients for incompatible implants and orthotic to determine safety in devices such as MRI environment.
Participates in required education, competencies, and annual training.
Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
Follows HIPAA compliance.
Demonstrates knowledge of supplies and equipment
Adhere to the on-call schedule and follows proper response time.
Assist radiologist in PICC line placement
What We’re Looking For
Associate Degree required
Registered ultrasonographer or registry eligible.
ARDMS preferred
Required 6-12+ months experience
Job Demands------
Strong Communication Skills
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking
Maintain accurate and concise documentation
Able to lift over 50lbs

BLS required through American Heart Association- renewals are included with TRH employment.
