Access Control Officer (TS/SCI Eligible)BTI Security is seeking professional and reliable Access Control Officers to support a federal contract in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. This position is responsible for supporting physical security operations and controlling access to government facilities while ensuring compliance with federal security procedures and protocols.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with an active Top-Secret clearance who are eligible to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access. No prior access control experience is required, paid training will be provided.ResponsibilitiesControl access to secured government facilities and restricted areasVerify credentials, badges, and authorization for personnel and visitorsMonitor entry and exit points in accordance with federal security proceduresMaintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentationRespond professionally to security incidents and emergenciesFollow all site-specific post orders and access control proceduresProtect sensitive and classified environments through strict adherence to security protocolsMaintain professionalism and strong communication with government personnel, visitors, and team membersMinimum QualificationsMust be a U.S. CitizenMust possess an active Top Secret security clearanceMust be eligible to obtain and maintain SCI accessAbility to pass all required background and adjudication processesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorAbility to work in a fast-paced federal security environmentAbility to stand and walk for extended periods as requiredSCI Eligibility RequirementsPersonnel supporting duties requiring access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) must meet all federal eligibility and indoctrination requirements prior to receiving access to SCI materials or environments.Requirements include:Favorable SCI eligibility determination through Department of Defense Adjudication and Vetting Services (DOD AVS) or another authorized federal adjudication facilityCompletion of all required pre-nomination interviews and indoctrination proceduresExecution of all required Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)Demonstrated need-to-know approval by the appropriate government authorityCompliance with all federal security regulations and contract security requirementsSCI processing will begin immediately upon hire and will be coordinated with the supporting Government Special Security Representative.Additional InformationTraining providedQuick hiring process and onboardingFederal contract supporting national security operationsPosition located in the DC metropolitan areaForeign Nationals are prohibited from performing work under this contract in any classified or unclassified areasThis job reports to the Operations ManagerThis is a Full-Time position
