nPosition Summary:
nA Event Staff provides safety, security, and customer service to the guests, tenants, and staff assigned to events. Event Staff employed by Battle Tested Security will assist local public safety agencies in the performance of their duties in providing service to the surrounding community as it affects the event.
nEssential Functions:
nnnServe as a representative and liaison of Battle Tested Security, while demonstrating a professional, positive, polite and friendly attitude
n
nnTact and discretion must always be used in all interactions with campus guests and employees
n
nnPatrol on foot and/or motorized vehicle in some cases within and the events surroundings
n
nnRespond quickly to all security needs and calls for service
n
nnProvide customer service to all patrons and employees
n
nnConduct regular inspections of all patrol and fixed post assignments
n
nnWrite reports, conduct staff work, interview victims and witnesses
n
nnRespond to crime scenes and ensure the scene is secured until the arrival of local law enforcement
n
nnWork closely with local public agencies to accomplish the safety and security goals of Battle Tested Security
n
nnArrive to all shifts on time in proper uniform
n
nnMust be able to stand post, which may require standing or walking for extended periods of time
n
n nQualifications
nnnA minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalent
n
nn0 - 1 years of related work experience is preferred
n
nnMust have NJ Security License per State regulation
n
nnFluency in written and spoken English
n
nnMust obtain a VALID driver's license
n
nnAbility to maintain patron, employee, and company confidentiality
n
nnAbility to memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information for incidents
n
nnAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended time periods up to 12 hours
n
nnAbility to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours
n
nnAbility to operate a motorized vehicle
n
nnAble to lift, carry, and/or move up to 50 pounds, as needed
n
nnMust be available to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
n
