Unarmed Patrol Security Officer- 3rd ShiftFriday & Saturday (11PM-7AM) $14.50/Hr.Security Engineers is seeking dedicated Unarmed Patrol Security Officers to help maintain safe and secure environments for our clients. Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.Minimum QualificationsMust have or be able to obtain a valid State Security LicenseValid driver's license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standardsMust be at least 18 years oldDuties & ResponsibilitiesPatrol & Surveillance: Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns. Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials. Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity.Incident Response & Reporting: Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol. Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents. Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors).Customer Service & Policy Enforcement: Assist visitors and employees professionally. Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols. Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).Required Skills & AbilitiesMinimum: Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Weekend availability. Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations. Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting.Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Office SuiteMinimum Physical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation (subject to change based on client-specific needs)Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without breakWalk a minimum of ½ mile without stoppingClimb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stoppingEducation & ExperienceMinimum: High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred: 1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience. 2+ years of verifiable customer service experienceNote: Responsibilities and requirements listed are not exhaustive.
