Role Description: We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Unarmed Security Officer to join our team in Richland, WA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, clients, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and facilities.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.
- Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security and safety.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
