Job TitleJoining Prosegur means becoming part of a global team dedicated to making the world safer through experience, technology, and innovation.Job DetailsDuties and responsibilities include maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general unarmed security duties to our clients. Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards. Understand and comply with Prosegur and client requirements, as well as specific post instructions. Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures. Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner. This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills. You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an unarmed security officer.QualificationsMust haves include a high school diploma or GED required, an active state security license/guard card (NYS), the ability to pass background and drug screening, strong customer service skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, conflict resolution and de-escalation skills, proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook), and the ability to work variable shifts including weekends, holidays, and respond to after-hours incidents as needed.Preferred but not required: prior experience in a corporate or high-traffic customer-facing environment, experience handling high-volume visitor or client interactions.Physical requirements include walking and standing for extended periods, frequently climbing stairs, ramps, or ladders, working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, maintaining alertness and situational awareness during all patrols, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.Pay rate: $20.55/h (weekly pay).
