Job description
Security OfficerSecurity Officers provide all routine patrol and access control functions including property control.Part-time schedules are available.$23.64/Hr. (Varies based on level of Security Clearance)ResponsibilitiesReport to the Lieutenant or SergeantPatrol Buyer's facilities and report all security or safety deficienciesConduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directedRespond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and containEnforce Buyer's access and property control policies at all gates and lobbiesSubject to frequent interruptionsMay be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs.Requires intermittent standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workdayClimb 8 or more flights of stairsOther duties as assignedQualificationsMust be U.S. citizenMust have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving recordPrefer to have a current Secret Clearance or HigherSuccessfully pass criminal, credit and driving records checkSuccessfully pass an employment physicalAbility to prepare detailed written reports and fill out formsWrite and speak clearly and effectively in English.Be fully computer literate with computer hardwareCommunicate effectivelyMust be able to pass training and obtain the required certifications and licenses6 months or more of aerospace related security experience preferred
