Unarmed Security OfficerMidwest Security Forces is looking for experienced applicants to fill immediate Unarmed Security Officer positions in Michigan City, IN.General security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Provide excellent customer service to our clientsSecures premises and establishing a friendly presence at the siteHe/she must be customer service orientedThe successful candidate will pay close attention to detailMust be able to stand for long periods of timeMust have good communication skillsObserve, survey, and report activities at the assigned siteRespond quickly to critical situationsAbility to read and write detailed reportsEnforce client procedures, regulations, and standardsThe ability to work within a team environmentMust consistently maintain a well-groomed appearance and hygieneQualificationsPossess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)Authorized to work in the United States.Must be at least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law.Effective written and verbal communicationSecurity Officer experience a plusMust have a valid driver's license with clean driving history (only for jobs which require driving)Must have reliable means of transportationMust be able to pass drug screeningMust be able to pass background checkIN Concealed Carry PermitIL PERC CardIL FOIDIL 40 hrs Firearm TrainingBenefits are available for Full Time employees:Leave: Paid holidays, Vacation/paid time offInsurance: Medical, Dental, Life, Vision
