Unarmed Licensed Security OfficerInner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is hiring Unarmed Licensed Security Officers in Charlotte. We are recruiting for professional unarmed security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team.Unarmed Vehicle Patrol-Pay Rate: $17.00/hr., paid every week!Candidate must have an active North Carolina Unarmed Guard Card, be at least 25 years of age, have a valid Driver's License, and clean Driving Record. Prior law enforcement experience, Military experience and/or 2 years of Unarmed Security in a plus.You will help to prevent and deter crime through:Performing both regular and random patrols of multiple premisesReporting any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrencesWhen necessary, performing control proceduresOperating emergency equipmentDocumenting nightly operations and filing weekly reportsInvestigating breaches of propertyYou must meet the following requirements:Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skillsSound communication skillsProfessional presentationAbility to work as a team member and soloWillingness and ability to work to a flexible roster, 7 days a weekReliable transportActive cellphoneAbility to pass a drug screenPhysical and Mental Job Requirements:Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency.A Security Officer must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances.A Security Officer must be able to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required.A Security Officer must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise, etc.)A Security Officer must be able to: Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit.A Security Officer must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required.A Security Officer must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency.A Security Officer must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work.
