Job description
This is a unique opportunity in the Charlotte area to work with local law enforcement and local high school students. We participate in schools through-out Charlotte and the surrounding area. Currently we are already participating in 3-12 presentations monthly within Drivers Education classes afterschool presenting our Power of You(th) program.
This volunteer position would be great for a teacher or former teacher, college student, parent or any other adult in the area that has a passion for educating our youth. A senior in high school may be considered
Responsibilities:
Present to schools with MADD’s Power of You(th) program
Help coordinate MADD’s program implementation specifically related to youth and outreach to additional locations
Establish a network of community members, schools, law enforcement, public officials and other prominent members of the community to maintain and support the goals of MADD’s underage drinking prevention programs
Staff booths at special events, health and safety fairs as available
