Job description
Optimal is seeking a Design and Release Engineer for underbody structure. You will design and release sheet metal components (steel and aluminum) such as front structure, dash cowl, floor panels and reinforcements from concept through production.
You will apply APQP, AVBOM, acceptance testing, and Change Control, while coordinating with suppliers and CAE teams to ensure feasibility and performance of parts. Experience with OEM system design and release is required.
