Job Description
The Laborer is a member of our fiber division is directed by the Construction Foreman, accountable to ensure accuracy related to tasks and follow all policies and procedures related to safety, quality and production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect/test the installed underground conduit to make sure it is clear and usable before fiber installation.
Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
Assist crew members with construction work as required
Operate compressors and missiles
Load, transport, and unload tools, materials, and equipment in a safe manner
Dig trenches and remove, fill, or compact earth
Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfaces
Assist with the handling and placement of conduit and cables
Maintain equipment
Perform site clean-up
Complete all required Company documentation
Other duties as assigned
Must always comply with proper safety standards/procedures and work practices while operating equipment according to Pramira’ s safety standards.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Must be 18 years old, have a valid driver license with clean driving record
Self-motivated with ability to following oral and written instructions
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with coworkers
Must have the ability to exert heavy physical effort, lift heavy physical objects, kneel, crouch, balance, climb or crawl
Frequently use hand tools, pneumatic tools (tampers, compactors, 60 & 90lb jackhammer, chipping hammer)
Must have the ability to assist in the installation of conduit, hand holes, vaults, manholes and cable.
Must pass a Drug Test & Background Check
Additional Information
Pay range: $21-$24/hr. DOE
