Our employees go home in the same condition they came to work.General QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentRequired Experience/QualificationsMust be 18 years of age or olderBasic Math SkillsManufacturing, Mill shop, Construction and Carpentry Experience (Preferred)Experience positioning parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurementsMust possess carpentry skills and knowledge of working carpentry toolsSelf-motivated with the ability to work well under pressureTeam player with the aptitude for multi-tasking, meeting deadlines, and building relationships with team members, vendors, and customers.Detail orientedDemonstrates initiative and flexibilityStrong problem-solving skills and effective time management.Ability to stand for 8-10+ hour work shiftsSome roles require regularly lifting 40+ lbs. All positions require being able to consistently bend, twist, squat and reach throughout work shiftWilling to train the right candidate!Essential Functions and Basic DutiesPrepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Works in a safe manner always and consistently provide a safe work environment.Building Your Career With ABC Millwork Benefits: The Usual.
