nThe Unit Based Pharmacist is a patient-centered, unit-based model of care that integrates pharmacists with responsibility for both the clinical and the distributive activities of the pharmacy department. Pharmacists are actively engaged in medication management in coordination with physicians and the interdisciplinary team and exhibit a high degree of ownership and accountability for the medication-use process in critical care settings.
nNew Jersey Pharmacy License is Required
nPGY1 completion required
nEducation, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
nnnBachelor's Degree from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
n
nnPossess strong interpersonal skills and work well at the team level, as well as independently.
n
nnExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
nnProficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
n
n nEducation, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
nnnDoctoral Degree in Pharmacy.
n
nnA minimum of one (1) year Pharmacist experience in a hospital setting.
n
n nLicenses and Certifications Required:
nnnRegistered Pharmacist License.
n
nnAdvanced Cardiac Life Support Certification within 6 months of entering position.

n nMinimum rate of $148,262.40 Annually

nnBudget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.

n nSome jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
