Job description
Nursing AssistantProvides safe, competent patient-centered care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The nursing assistant provides care under the direction of the registered nurse. Participates as an active member of the Nursing Team on the assigned unit/department. Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups.Qualifications:Prefer experience in an acute care setting. EDUCATION / LICENSURE: High School diploma, GED or Higher Education preferred. Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility. Must possess one of the following: • CNA certificate and/or a certificate of completion of a CNA program and/or PCT certificate • Medical Assistant certificate and/or a certificate of a MA program • Current enrollment in an LVN, ADN or BSN accredited school of nursing with successful Completion of first semester at a minimum BLS upon hire and remain current thereafter Must be > 18 years of age by the date of hireEEO Statement All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
