If you're interested in joining a health care system that is changing the face of care and well-being in our community, we encourage you to explore a future with ThedaCare.Benefits, with a whole-person approach to wellness –Lifestyle Engagement e.g. health coaches, relaxation rooms, health focused apps (Wonder, Ripple), mental health supportAccess & Affordability e.g. minimal or zero copays, team member cost sharing premiums, daycareAbout ThedaCare!The Unit Clerk performs clerical duties in the nursing unit and assists in coordinating the efforts of the health care team by receiving and disseminating information.Job Description:KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Coordinates the flow of information via multiple channels between patients, family, and members of the healthcare team both inside and outside of the department to ensure safe and efficient patient care.Performs clerical duties related to patient information and events within the electronic medical record that provides an accurate and current record.Performs inventory management including ordering medical or office supplies to guarantee correct par levels.QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or GED preferredMust be 18 years of agePHYSICAL DEMANDS:Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds without assistanceJob classification is exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job dutiesWORK ENVIRONMENT:Normally works in climate controlled office environmentFrequent sitting with movement throughout office spacePossible exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous materials, and pharmacological agents.Occasional contact with aggressive and or combative patients.Use of computers throughout the work dayFrequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingersPosition requires compliance with department specific competencies.Scheduled Weekly Hours:4Scheduled FTE:0.1Location:ThedaCare Medical Center - Shawano - Shawano, WisconsinOvertime Exempt:NoWorker Shift Details:Variable
