RN Unit Manager Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit
Ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance
Supervise, support, and mentor nursing staff
Coordinate care with physicians, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams
Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate documentation
Address resident and family concerns professionally and compassionately
Promote a positive and efficient work environment
Qualifications
Current and active North Carolina RN license required
Long-term care or rehabilitation experience preferred
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Compassionate and team-oriented approach to resident care
