Job DescriptionReporting to the Nursing Director, this position supports the unit by coordinating communications, performing order entry functions, maintaining files, and providing clerical support.QualificationsMinimum Education:High school graduate or equivalentMinimum Experience/Skills:Minimum one (1) year of recent experience as Unit Secretary in similar Emergency Department preferredKnowledge of medical terminologyBasic computer knowledge, such as word processing, spreadsheetLicenses/Certificates/Credentials:Must possess and maintain throughout the duration of employment:Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Provider issued by the American Heart AssociationCurrent CPI card – Nonviolent Crises Intervention Training (must obtain within 90-day of hire/transfer)About UsEmbark on a rewarding career with San Ramon Regional Medical Center hospital.
