You will create a welcoming, organized space where patients and families feel valued and informed. You will use clear, compassionate communication and attention to detail to keep the unit running smoothly and caring for others like family – one shift at a time.Your responsibilities will include:Greeting and guiding patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, offering updates, and ensuring they feel informed and supportedMaintaining patient records accurately, entering physician orders, and protecting patient informationHandling all communications between incoming calls and care team members promptly and clearly to keep the unit connectedKeeping the environment clean, organized, and well-stocked to promote safety and comfortTaking initiative to solve challenges, support daily operations, and foster a culture of respect and teamworkWhat qualifications you will need:High School DiplomaAmerican Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification required upon hirePublic contact and clerical experience preferredExcellent interpersonal skills and computer skills requiredAbility to prioritize and manage multiple functions preferredKnowledge of medical terminology preferredKnowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and multi-line phone preferredMUST have weekend availability in addition to weekdays.BenefitsCenterpoint Medical Center offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
